Background
About
I've spent ten years in HR, moving gradually from communications towards data. I started out writing internal communications for BAT, and ended up building people analytics solutions for HR across two continents and three cities: Geneva, Hong Kong, and London. The common thread is a persistent interest in technology, and a habit of challenging myself to learn new tools to keep raising the level of my work.
What I actually do
I'm a Senior Compensation and People Analytics Manager for APAC, but based in London for personal reasons. In practice that gives me an unusually wide field of view: I work across APAC, EMEA, and North America at the same time. My role includes compensation reporting for senior leadership, combining internal and external market data to make salary decisions easier to understand and act on.
That means global reports for senior audiences, including the CEO, covering things like compa-ratios, gaps to market, and pay trends across 20,000+ employees. I also run analytics around Ralph Lauren's global recognition platform, and own the people data dashboards for APAC. Beyond the regular reporting, I try to push into deeper questions too: what drives turnover in a given market, what shapes engagement, and what is actually going on in the culture behind the headline numbers.
